Hi everyone,

It looks like my Neo550 is defective, but just in case I thought I'd ask here in case someone has a suggestion or has experienced the same problem.

Once my Neo has booted, it works fine.

The only problem is that it won't boot if there is a network connection.

I tried with the USB wireless adapter or with the ethernet wired connection, the result is the same.

If the wire is in or if the USB adapter is in, the Neo displays the first splash screen, then the screen goes blank with the led blinking yellow, and it goes on forever.

If I unplug the wire or the USB adapter, it works absolutely fine, finds all my shares, etc.

If I put it on standby, it works fine when it wakes up.

If I power cycle it, it won't boot unless I unplug the network connection.

The only time it cold boots properly is after a factory reset, when it's in standalone mode.

Of course I tried resetting it, reprogram the f/w (I tried both the latest and the one before, same result).

Any idea?

Hi there,

I'm showing that the WNDR4000 is failing to provide gigabit over the wire. My server with a gigabit NIC will only connect as 100/Full. If I force it to 1000/Full, connection fails altogether at the router, regardless of port used.

What am I missing? Is there a setting that throttles the router down to 100/Full on wired connections? ...or do I have a problem with the router? (I suppose the NIC on the server could be a culprit as well - but I was getting gigabit over my old Linksys/Cisco router).

I have two bad DSL- connections to the internet.
(Don't tell me to get better providers - not possible because of our address...)
I want to use the FVS336G to bundle both WANs together.

I don't need protocol bounding. I want the whole traffic being shaped dynamicly to the actual and changing bandwidth at the two WAN-Ports.

My DSL-connections change bandwidth and quality oftener, and the FVS336G should dynamicly react to that changes and balance my traffic according to the available bandwidth on the two ports.

Sometimes one of the DSL-connections even shut down completely for some time. After a while, my DSL-modem reactivate the connection. Can the FVS336G handle that and switch the traffic from and back to the failed and restarted connection automatically?

Thank you,
kind regards ... Robert

I have not had to edit this page since upgrading to the latest release a few weeks ago, but my daughter accidentally pressed the wireless off button so I came here to turn it back on and discover that the page is not working, but it definitely used to.

The problem is that all the checkboxes in Advanced Setup/Wireless Settings are cleared and the schedule is empty. If I check a checkbox and save it is cleared the next time I return to this screen. Also, pressing on the 'Add a New Period' or 'Edit' buttons has no affect.

I first noticed this because Enable SSID broadcast was cleared, also my schedule that shuts down the wireless at night has been cleared and the buttons that edit it are not working.

Has anybody else got similar problems or is it just me? I have already raised a case with Netgear support.

Thanks
Martin

I can see the Stora in windows network now but can't connect either.
