SPH200D - Help setting up with mac airport express

Can the SPH200D work in conjunction with my apple airport express. Both the airport express and the sph200d router want me to plug my ethernet cable into them. Neither has an outgoing ethernet port. Do I have to get a ethernet splitter or something. Thanks for the help. Greg
