I am having a DNS issue with XP. When I connect to the VPN and establish a tunnel using XP I get and IP and DNS information. I confirm this using ipconfig and it appears that all my traffic is going over the VPN. The issue is that the VPN DNS does not appear to be used. When I use nslookup or ping, the main DNS is used to resolve the domain names and not the VPN DNS. The odd thing is that this seems to work just fine when I connect from a Vista machine. I searched the forum and found a similar issue here, but there does not seem to be a resolution. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am having a similar problem. I can connect where all traffic is tunneled and DNS works. When I disconnect and then attempt to reconnect, DNS does not work though I can ping internal IP addresses over the tunnel. I have to reboot and reconnect for DNS to work over the tunnel again.
