Just put in a FVS318G-100NAS 01R8
I've read some of the threads. Router in last couple days started to just Hang. No access to Internet, no response via ping off 192.168.1.1, no access to Web interface. I upgraded firmware to latest as soon as I received router. Have to power cycle the router to get it back online. Setup at the moment is minimual or very basic. I do have traffic monitor enabled and email logs enabled. Any insite to this problem would be a great help. |

Im having the same problem.. I registered, have an activated
ID and get cant view the post. (I get the below). b422312t, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: You have not activated your account after registration. Follow the instructions on the email sent to the address you provided during registration and activate your account. You have not validated yourself as a NETGEAR product owner/reseller. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. |

I have an identical problem. Apparently it is a known firmware problem with no resolution date. Netgear support have been 0 help on this (other than recognizing the problem after many weeks of effort). It would appear that this product should never have been released in its current state

I have the same problem and also cannot reach the http://forum1.netgear.com/forumdisplay.php?f=44 page. Could I get access or could someone let me know what the status is? I bought this because the previous equipment was hanging once a month or so. Now it is hanging more than once a week.

My fvs318g is hanging once a day while I am downloading gigabytes from the internet. I have sent a support request in. My old fvs318v3 did not have this issue.
