Exclamation Problems connecting ntv 350 to network

I have since a couple of days a ntv350.

I can see some of my videocontent true the option Mediaserver but i want to see with the network option my downloaded movies he keeps asking for a password en login when i try to connect. My network detection is on and my passwords are off i have administrator rights on everything so

When firewalls are down still not works

I have windows 7 home premium 64-bits and its connected to cabled network router U.S. Robotics USR 5462

So please can someone help me thanks in advance

Did you make the share to "everyone"? Because I had to do that before I got it running.

I have the same problem..
Network discovery is on, files are shared to everyone, but I still need a pass to play media on my tv.
how can i resolve this?

Is it possible omte use a Netgear Wireless-N USB Adapter WNA3100 300 Mbps WiFi to connect to your PC (or in my case an iMac)?

Try this, create a new account with password, share folders and then put user name and password in NeoTV.

Since I no longer own the NTV350 (I upgraded to a NTV550 a while ago) I really can't come up with any good advices.
However, I had some similar problems like you do with my NTV550 which I managed to solve by doing a factory reset. Please try that, it may work with the 350 as well.
