Default Wireless extender

I have a Netgear N600 router that I have hardwired on the other side of my house from where my CenturyLink wireless router/modem is. I currently have the wireless turned off and I am just using it as a switch. Is there a way that I can use the N600 as a wireless extender?

Default Re: Wireless extender

repeating "IF", main unit supports WDS (also limits 54Mbps/WEP, weakens the security) if not you will NOT able you se 3800 wirelessly connect

you will need extender like wn2000rpt, wn3000rpt which join the existing network
