Default Problems with Read Write Access

Have hooked up USB hard drive to Netgear wireless router.
See hard drive and can open and read but can't write. I have ALL-no password set for read and write but I must be missing something. I just can't copy files to hard disk.

Post your problem in the Subforum of your router.

Hi, really wish this thread had been continued here... since now I don't know where to look.

I'm having exactly the same problem with a DGND3300v2 and seagate 2tb

Can anyone suggest why an external USB hd can been seen on network, files read from the drive and even directories written to it... but no new files can be written ??

Any help appreciated,
