The router's current date and time is not correct. The log file thinks it's Jan 2003. I looked all over and can't seem to find where I can change it to the correct settings.

I'm having the same problem. I am assuming Netgear's time server must be down.

Same here!!
I had the router for one week everything was great until yesterday. I noticed the date/time became to Jan 1, 2003 in the genie setup. So I brought another 4500 today, after setup, etc. Same problem! Spent 1 hour with their level 2 tech after all the beta version firmware upgrade. Didn't fix the issue. She said she will send me a email for solution.... |

I believe rickf may well be correct, it’s happened so often over the years that I’ve lost count, and if that’s the case then that change of router would make no difference (and it didn’t).

I had the same problem on 3 pcs of FVS336g.
The change in date caused the load balancing to close WAN port 1. All 3 sites had communication problems. Problem solved changing the NPT server. |

The time server must be down. Same here....
If anyone from Netgear is watching - it is pretty 1980's to hardcode something like the timeserver... This should be editable... and the "schedule" features should not be where the timezone is selected... <sigh> R |

My date/time stopped working yesterday 2/13/2012 also. I use Traffic Meter to read my bandwidth usage

At least I am not alone.
Come on Netgear. Fix this... |
