Default WLAN Light

my WNDR3700V1 WLAN button light is off, yet the 2.4 and 5 wireless lights are on and blink when in use??

I thought if the WLAN light was off the wireless is turned off?

WLAN is the wired LAN ports.

If you want the wireless off just push the button on the front of the router.

There is no LED light next to the front panel wLAN button. If the 2.4 and 5 GHz LED lights are on, then the radios are enabled. Pushing the front panel wLAN button will disable the radios, and then the 2.4 and 5 GHz LED lights should turn off.

Note: There is/was a bug which caused the 2.4 and 5 GHz LED lights to go off even though the radios were enabled, but that doesn't seem to be what you're describing here.

correct

The WLan button light is OFF yet the radio 2.4 and 5 are on and flashing . Pushing the WLAN Button turns the 2.4 and 5 lights off but pushing again to on no light appears under the button?

the WPS light is on

You're welcome.

I must admit that post #4 had me confused, but I'm glad it all worked out.
