I have two computers, a Win7 desktop and MacBook Pro that can connect to my 5ghz network. However, once either one connects to this network and then disconnects, due to shutting down for example, the network no longer appears in the network list on either computer. Going into the settings, the ssid is still set to broadcast. Rebooting/resetting doesn't help either. The only thing that solves it is time. A few days later and "poof," it is back in the list.
This router is driving me nuts. Aside from this issue I am experiencing the disconnect issue a few other members of the forums have mentioned. I recently got the new Star Wars MMO and haven't been able to stay connected for more than 30 minutes, usually only about 3-5 (or less). Really regretting my purchase now, thought I was getting a "premium" router, my dinky old router from Qwest worked better and was more reliable...still, want to figure this out, so any advice would be appreciated. |

I use the 2.4GHz band for the guest wireless and WDS wireless bridging, and this is very stable. |
