Default WNDR3700 Router stand fit NTV550?

Anyone with this router? Are the stands interchangeable?

I have a chance to get a refurb 3700 on the cheap, less the stand. I see where it's best to run this unit in a vertical position. I don't use my 550 stand and figured I could use it on this router as they look nearly identical in photos.

Well my first answer was going to be no, since the chssis design for the NTV550 is narrower than the WNDR3700. But just to be sure I went and tested it, and amazingly enough I got it to fit! The plastic curves on the stand are designed to match up with the flat plat on the bottom of the units, which is larger than the actual chassis itself. Turns out the NTV550 stands curved edges match up with the curves of the actual WNDR3700, so instead of it matching to the baseplate it matches to the chassis. It's not as stable of a base as the original WNDR3700 base, but definitely an acceptible replacement.

Thanks man! I ended up ordering two so I can use one as an access point parked right next to my NEOTV550. Was cheaper than buying one and an then an extender. Now I can drop my computer and run up to 3 USB drives. Gonna be a busy weekend.
