Hello
I am using Firmware 1.0.0.16 on my WN2000RPT (v1) and wanted to update the firmware to the latest version 1.0.1.24. Whenever I try to update online, the system shows the error that there is no internet connection available - even connected as a wireless client to the WN2000RPT - I can connect to any website. As an alternative way I downloaded the firmware file for my region ( I am based out of Europe) and uploaded/flashed it. Unfortunately the system always answers with "wrong firmware region". To verify that I have downloaded the right regional version, I stored the US and nonUS firmware on my computer. Then I tried it with both - same result either or.... Update:
I had the suspicion that the old firmware had an issue with the browser. I also read the sticky note in one of the forums about browser (Firefox) problems. Therefore I tried to manually upgrade the firmware with IE and Firefox Version 2.0.0.2 - Additionally I connected wired instead of wireless - as recommended in another threads: result: still the same issue: "Error firmware region". I am really getting frustrated!! Any suggestions....? |

Did really nobody experience the same problem? Does somebody know how the device is testing for correct "firmware region"? Are there WN2000RPT users that could update their device to the current firmware - which was the previously used firmware version?
