Is it me or do netgear WIZARD installations never work? Just replaced a faulty Buffalo Router, which by the way, connected to my Virgin modem no problem. However, the WNR1000 installation stops and says my modem uses a fixed IP address (to be obtained from Virgin) and I am then required to enter other info ie MAC and DNS. So it looks as if I will have to log into the router and set it up manually. Lifes never simple is it, especially with Netgear.
Any comments/advice from fellow virgin media sufferers gratefully received. |

Are you with Virgin Media cable or DSL?
What are the model number / brand of the Virgin modem?
