Default Help setting up two fvs124g connected to each other.

ok. i have two fvs124g routers that i am wanting to connect to each other. here is what i am try to accomplish.

DSL1 (main connection ) connected to router1 in wan1

DSL2 (used mainly by servers) connected to router2 in wan1

i want to connect router1 (via wan2 ) to the router2 ( via lan1).

router1 needs to be configured in rollover mode.

the reason that both dsl lines are not in one router is we need to use them both but want to have the second dsl line as a backup if the first one down.

thanks in advance.

I think there are two options I would consider. Either replace your devices with a good dual wan router + 2 modems or create a failover router. Most dual wan routers do failover out the box.

Here's a link which gives more information about a linux based failover router:

Hope it helps
