More info.

What kind of data are you talking about?

How are you uploading/downloading?

Wired or Wireless?

Ok, you need to adjust the bit torrent client's concurrent connections. Too many will cause the router to lock up. Try setting the connections to 100-200 or the default minimum of the client to test.

Also make sure that you have the latest firmware with a reset.

For further testing, you can disable the SPI firewall in WAN setup and disable any key word blocking or settings that require logging.

ive got the latest firmware and keyword blocking is set to never ie disabled.
If i disable my firewall wont i be leting myself to get viruses or get hacked etc
also what you said about limit the number of connections theres 2 options:

Global maximum number of connections
Maximum number of connected peers per torrent

which one do i need to limit?
thanks much appreciated
