What is your Router's Default IP?
What is Router's Default IP Netgear uses? or are most common default router's IP for Netgear ( ex linksys uses
Is there other IP been used? At default, above two are the most common choice of IP from Netgear. There are some home end router's default router's IP has changes from above to 10.0.0.x ranage IP. This may have changes after certain firmware were applied.
So how do I found my router's IP? Most Prosfe and home end router has default router's information on the bottom of the units.

What is your Gateway IP?
Gateway IP is same as Router's IP. Gateway IP is what it makes your PC to have internet connection. There is many scenario on setting up router but we are only cover the basics of setting PC
Try Start>run and type CMD. At prompt type ipconfig
You will find "Gateway IP"

What is your Default IP Range
It's your DHCP Range which router or DHCP server will release to your PC.
Try Start>run and type CMD. At prompt type ipconfig
You will find "IP address"
IP address will also tell you what is DHCP range
ex. tell you have DHCP Range of 192.168.0.x ~192.168.0.X
Possbile to have Gateway IP and IP address to be different? Yes. This instruction is basic setup of PC and router where router is your DHCP Server as well
