Default Live365 radio?

Any hints/tips for setting up access to Live365 radio stations?

Thanks.

Just want to bring this back up again, just in case it's now possible to listen to stations from this site.

You should give some more information, which equipment you use.

Take a look here:
http://olioradio.net/listen.html

For a first test I'd configure in your router the pc as dmz-server;
disabling routers spi-firewall is another option.

sw-firewalls on the pc can cause problems too.

I'm having the same problem, also with other MP3 Radio Stations. I always receive the message "unable to play station". All my Radio Stations on the PC work fine.

I'm using EVA8k F/W 2.0.159 GR hardwired with Cable Internet connection.

thanks
frank

I've also had that problem, just upgraded to the beta sw 2.1.18, now testing, problem is that the remote feature from my laptop does not work to program the stations. would be nice to add an edit feature for stations already added.

I've resolved the live365 and other MP3 radio broadcasting stations problem in a workoround (for me).

First get Your desired radio station be played with an MP3 player on your EVA8 host computer (on live365 select "My Account / Listen Settings" and choose "MP3 Player")

Second edit the properties of Your desired radio station that plays on your EVA8 host computer's MP3 player - and copy the URL.

Third edit the EVA8 radio favorites file and add a new station with the copied URL

Hint: the EVA8 radio favorites can be found (on WinXP DE hosts) at
"C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Dokumente\EVAData\inetradio\netradiofavorite s.xml"

Adding Your radio stations to "Internet Radio Favorites" add them to this file and you can edit the properties.

This is exciting, but for.....

Do you have an example of the URL you used? I've managed to find a couple of URLs that might qualify, but they are quite different, one referencing an
M3U file and one simply a cgi-bin type of URL.
