Default WNR1000 weak wifi signal

hi guys, Anyone here using WNR1000 Router?Just wanted to ask if you guys are experiencing weak wifi signal with this router?Before with my WGT624 V4 router i never had problem with the wifi signal and the WGT624 V4 antenna are visible and can be adjusted.but the WNR1000 antenna is not visible.help

ALL N router are internal antenna. That also includes other manufacture like linksys


you have not detail of the distance that start to fail and distance that works better.

you have not detail type wireless adapter MODEL is used

you have not detail the wireless setting you choose in the router.

So does WNR1000 router got higher signal compare to WGT624 V4?anyway.The distance I really don't know the distance but with WGT624 V4 I got a very good signal at my sister bedroom.but with WNR1000 I got no signal.I'm using a netbook and laptop for wifi.as for the wireless setting Region=asia, Channel=auto, Mode=Up to 150mbps, Security=WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]..hope that answers.TIA

don't use "auto" for channel . specify 1-6-11 channel for choice

you have not detail type wireless adapter MODEL is used

Sorry for my ignorance here..but i really can't find the detail for my wifi adapter.I'm using a minix u-note m1000 which it say that it support 802.11 B/G.Guide me please.TIA

make sure use B&G/ 54MBps settings in the router interface

Ok.now I replaced my Minix netbook with Asus eee pc 1005ha knowing that the Minix got a weak wifi signal.but still having the same problem.and the Asus support 802.11 b/g/n and from what i heard it supposed to have much better signal.any other solution?TIA

are you testing closer to the router?
