Formatting SC101 Used Hard Drives

Since Netgear does not support the SC101 for Windows 7 bascially making my SC101 a paperweight or doorstop.

I was wondering if I will be able to add the hard drives from my SC101 into my computer and be able to re-format them.

Has anybody done this? Would like to make sure it will work before I go to all the effort of opening my computer case and adding the drives.
