Default How do I get the black bars on the sides to go away?

So the laptop doesn't have any black bars showing on it's screen, but the image on the TV is full screen and you still have black bars on the left and right, what can you do?

Answer: When the laptop is connected to the PTV1000, on the laptop change the screen resolution to 1280x720. (Note: This may not work for every tv, but I tested it on 3 different models of widescreen tvs and it corrected the issue on all 3.)

OK I guess I figured out how to post a question but here's a reply to this thread:
I have an ASUS UX31a, Win 7 x64, Intel i5 with WiDi connecting to a PTV2000-100NAS to a 32" tv via HDMI. It was a struggle but finally I ignored all the warnings and suggestions regarding screen resolution and selected the notebooks highest of 1920 X 1080 then used the Intel WiDi gui >Properties >Adapter tab > "Resize tv picture" button to fit it to the tv screen. I first set my notebook to 1920 X 1080 then after I connected I reset it again to 1920 X 1080. It looks great.
