I'm sorry for kinda reposting, but had no luck on previous post and was hoping
a reentry on the issue might result in some help. Again sorry. I have a problem accessing my stora remotely. I have the Stora connected to the internet through an Airport Extreme (latest n- version) The stora agent is not able to see the Stora unit (preferences -> advanced) Nor, am I able to log in to the stora through mystora.com However, I am able to access it through explorer. I'm suspecting that there are some "uPnP" settings to be made on the Extreme, but have not been able to find out how and what. I'm not sure, but think NAT and port-access services (Ftp-access, maybe?) might be relevant to look at.. However, it's beyond my knowledge. Is there a simple, straightforward guide on how to properly set up the airport to allow the stora agent to see my unit and also allow me to access the stora remotely? I'm running Windows7 and has recently replaced my previous Linksys wireless router with this new airport extreme. Please advice |

The airport's aren't UPnP compatible. Suggest you give support a call and ask them how to forward port 21,22,80 and 443 to your Stora's ip.

Mysteries mysteries.
There might be a chance that the problem lies elsewhere.. I have now set up DHCP so that my stora recieves the same ip address.. and set up port forwarding on port 21, 22, 443 and 80. Still not working However.. I'm starting to suspect the problem elsewhere. As explained previously, my system used to work on my old router, but not anymore on my new airport extreme. When trying to log in through mystora.com, i get rerouted to an 192.168.x.x address, but when testing port forwarding (http://support.stora.hipserv.com/en/...rtforward.html), i get an 89.150.x.x address... Am I on to something, or once again totally lost? please advice Again, my stora is visible through explorer, but not through any stora software or webpage... |

thanks for your respond!
I have however been able to set up port forwarding and DHCP to my stora's mac-address, and the port forwarding test (http://support.stora.hipserv.com/en/...rtforward.html) turns out well! However, (i tried explaining this in a reply, but it got lost somewhere), none of the stora software or webpages are able to find my stora. only explorer. I'm suspecting it to be some sort of setup-issue, as my previous router might have assigned it with an different ip or something (not sure here..). When trying to access the stora from the webpage, i'm rerouted to a 192.168.x.x ip, but the port forwarding test says my external ip is 89.150.x.x... |

Are you on your local network when this happens? If so, this is normal as we forward you to a local connection of your Stora. When you get redirected to your local ip, what happens? Can you ping your Stora? Thanks, Roby! |

All of the above where on local network.
When rerouted, it just says webpage unavailable (standard IE error page). I'm able to ping the ip-adress i've assigned through the dhcp, and also when pinging "stora". Still no stora through any of the storasoftware/webpages... ![]() Is there any hope this will fix itself through an eventual reset? My fear is that if i reset it, all my files will be unavailable as i'm not able to access it and restore/reestablish my user-profiles.. |

Since you can ping the Stora, what happens when you go to "http://<storaip>/?local=1" with your browser ?
Thanks, Roby! |

It goes directly to "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" (standard error message)..

Can you email support@axentra.com with your Stora name, admin username and password? We'll investigate further.
Thanks, Roby! |
