External/Interal vs Starting/Ending port forwarding question?..

Hi everyone,

I know this may be such a basic thing for someone, but this is confusing me a bit.

I am using Windows 7 and they recommend I port forward these ports to have the best connection.



But when I log into the router, I look at the port forwarding section but I just don't understand.. all I see is:



See? "STARTING AND ENDING".. Not "EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL". Could somebody please enlighten me? I know I must be missing something. Thanks in advance for your help, I'm sure I must be thinking to hard lol.
