WNDR3700 does not boot up

I've bought a new wndr3700 router. Tried setting it up but the router stopped working in between. Now it does not even boot up and the power led stays amber. Tried resetting it to factory default and that does not help. Is there a way I can reset the router so that I can use it. Please help.

Tried all sorts of reset options including 30/30/30 as is posted in some of the other forums. No luck. Still only amber Power light.

I stay in India and since this router is not easily available here, picked up this one last week on my trip to Singapore. Replacement process, therefore, is going to be pretty painful as am unlikely to travel to singapore in near future.

Is there any other way to get over this problem?
