Ok, so I need to trigger some ports b/c I have multiple devices which have to access the same ports. Atm I need to trigger ports for Steam ranging 27000-27030. I'm having a little trouble in that I'm not quite sure what to put in the triggering port. It seems as if I can't put a range of ports as the trigger but only input one trigger port at a time. Am I doing it wrong or did Netgear castrate port triggering in this firmware?
Oh ya, using a 37AV. Came in a black box so I'm assuming it's a r4 board. (black box doesn't have 2r1/r21/etc serial numbers) |

It's actually a bit odd the way the triggering section is set up..
Usually hardware allows you to trigger 1 port to 1 port or multiple ports to multiple ports But as you said, this router seems to force you to set 1 port to multiple ports. Since it's only 30 rules then I would just set up 1 for each port :/ I would make a suggestion on my.netgear.com and ask for them to support multiple trigger ports.. After the cheap non-enligsh speaking staff reply saying it requires level 2/3/4/898 tech support, just reply again to keep it active until you get a real non-generated responce ;P On the flip side, depending on what game isnt working, I would send an email to the publisher and ask them why such a popular game such as (xxxx) made by such a well respected company as (yyyy) cant have uPnP to set the ports. |

Thank you for the confirmation. Guess I'll bug support and try to get them to add this feature in a firmware update.
