Orillion is on a distinguished road
Default enable usb port on CG3000

i just got a Netgear CG3000 router from the company i got internet at.

The problem for me is that they somehow disabled the usb port thats on the router.

Do you guys now if its possible to enable it somehow again ? ( i tried looking in the admin interface no luck there. )

by configuration page do you mean where i set up the wireless and so on ?

Yes, like by typing its IP address on the browser http://192.168.0.x for example. Are you able to get in? Are you able to get a Netgear Smart Wizard page or a custom page from the internet service provider?

i can get in on 192.168.0.1

and when i get in i have these options

Add WPS Client

Basic Settings

Filtering ( in the admin interface content and filtering is below eacher other. )

Maintenance
Modem Status
Connection
Set Password

MAC Filtering
DynamicDNS
Port Blocking
Port Forwarding
Port Triggering
DMZ Host
LAN IP
Remote Management

NAT

don't waste too much time. ISP provided unit may have branded firmware where it may disabled or cripple it.

call ISP and ask this issue

i talked to them. its disabled from them because then dont wanna support if people get trouble using it.

Do you guys know if its possible to some how put another firmware on it ?
