WAG511 having issues loading hardware

I have a WAG511 that was previously in use on my laptop. I had some issues with my laptop and had to re-load windows on it. When this happened, I had to re-load the software for the card. it appears to load fine, but when I go into the device manager and attempt to "reinstall driver" it fails and gives me the following error message (does not give error #)

"Cannot install this hardware

An error occurred during the installation of this device

The name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name"

it tells me the same thing when it "finds new hardware" and goes thru the setup wizard.

Is there anyone that has any suggestions? or know how I can fix the issue?
