Unhappy WNDR3700 firmware update
Tried to download the latest upgrade ver1.07.98. Saved to desktop. It downloaded in an .img file. Tried to load upgrade into router, but it would not open the file. I have had this router for about 10 days, and opening web pages is getting slower and slower, it was really fast when I first hooked it up, now I have to reset it to get it to run at a satisfactory speed. Having this router for only 10 days, I must say I am not very pleased with results

Do THIS and report back with your results.

You are connected to the router via LAN cord while trying to do the upgrade, yes?

Return it while you still can! This router is a firmware disaster.
