WGPS606 AND THE ipad

can anyone tell me tell me in SMALL words how to connect my ipad to my print server, keeping in mind I'm old and was Not born into this life of tech's stuff. the print server works ok with my epson printer and my computer. but no mater how I try the ipad says can't find printer when I want to print.
I have read that macs no iOS 4.2.1 has over come some printing problems.
