If it works on your netbook but not after reboot and in disk management disk disappears then check firewalls. Disable/uninstall or configure. Port 20000 UDP must be open and exception rule must exist for utility. Read relevant portions re firewall issues in my sticky How to post 'listall' and 'getpart' information - the complete guide for more information.

If all works fine on your laptop then stop fiddling with the SC101! It works OK.
You have local issues with your other computers! Network settings, firewalls, registry problems, etc. etc.
