WNDR3400 Lights

I know that the dome light on the WNDR3400 can be turned off by pressing the dome button once, but mine comes back on and flashes for about 5-10 seconds every now and then. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?
I've looked through the User Manual and found nothing about the dome lights except for about using the WPS.

Sure the dome light looks cool during the day but at night I feel like a UFO has landed in my house.

I am having the same issue. Have had the WNDR3400 since Christmas, it is working great. My local phone provider cut my DSL while performing some repairs in the area. Took 2-1/2 days to get that fixed. The final night before my connection was restored, the dome light began cycling through a blinking cycle (~5 seconds of blinking follwed by 1 minute off). This continued last night until I finally turned the power off. I have tried everything except resetting the unit. Any ideas?
