Hi all
I'm getting the "Invalid Certificate" at the last stage (step 24) I'm not 100% sure that im using the correct "RapidSSL Root cert" It looks like the RapidSSL web site has changed from the original how-to so..... To download the the "RapidSSL root cert" you need to go to https://knowledge.rapidssl.com/suppo...ewlocale=en_US Quote:
![]() Do you think this is the correct root cert file? |

Quote:
"Command execution failed" when uploading the Root CA cert (which was generated by a Microsoft Server 2008 R2 CA) from Internet Explorer 8: disabled "compatibility view" (which is ON by default for all intranet sites), also pointed the browser to the FVS336 by its FQDN (i.e.: firewall.mydomain.com) rather than just its hostname. I'm pretty sure only the first of these two actions changed the outcome, but either way, I was able to upload the root cert whereas before I was not. "Invalid certificate" errors: seem to be most commonly related to having a certificate file that's NOT exported in the Base64 encoding. Maybe everyone else already knows that, and I'm the only one to mess it up, but regardless, that was the cause of my issue. Hope that helps! |

FVS336GV2 Firmware Version: 3.0.9-02
I was able to load the a CA certificate on the device - but it only appears when I access from the LAN side of the device. When I access from the public IP address side, I still see the netgear CA. Any ideas? |
