Well I don't understand at this point why the volume is not showing up. I tried again on my Mac just in case something changed and computersbackup$ volume was available to select.

Try opening Terminal and type.

Code:

defaults write com.apple.systempreferences TMShowUnsupportedNetworkVolumes 1

Then see if the volume shows for selection.
