Some of those devices will most likely not be updated, but remember just because IPv6 is going to be released soon doesn't mean IPv4 is going to disappear over night. It will take years for the switch to take full affect. The only problem you will most likely have is on the LAN.

The only devices that currently support IPv6 are the GSM73xxSv2 switches.

At least some of the latest devices should see some IPv6 support. What about the SRX5308 firewall...

This is actually a big concern for me - not so much the what do I need to replace them aspect, but the apparent lack of direction being displayed by the industry at large.

Back in the 90's when the world at large was running NetBEUI & IPX/SPX, I was running a pure IP LAN, having recognized that IP was going to be the "lingua franca" of networks, fast forward to 2011 when the world is about to run out of IPv4 addresses and I can't find the hardware to run an IPv6 LAN.

My OSs are IPv6 ready but the rest of the world isn't.

What we need to see for this to happen is some sort of affordable gateway/translator device - it needs to allow IPv4 on both internal & external interfaces, IPv4 internal with IPv6 external, IPv6 internal with IPv4 external and IPv6 on both internal & external.

Do not buy NAT64 devices. Go IPv4/IPv6 dual environment.
