WNDR3400 and XAVB2001

Hello to all;

I have been looking for information or guidance for my concern and I am almost ready to give up.

I am not a network guru, so please any help would be largelly appreciated.

So, I have a WNDR3400 on the second floor, but because my house is too big, my wife could not get enough signal for Netflix on the Xbox downstairs. I bought the powerline and problem solved.

However, while the poweline is working (she's watching netflix) the WiFi stops working.

My PC can not connect to the internet, my iphone cannot join the network etc.

Is this normal? I did followed the instrcutions included with the powerline, but I am very confussed.
