Default WPN824N with LG Blu Ray

I'm trying to make my LG BD670 Blu Ray player connect to the home network using Netgear N150 WPN824N Router. I'm using wired connection and dynamic IP option and LG fails to connect. I have tried wireless with the same result. I have other devices connecting just fine. When I connect directly to the modem everything works fine. I also tried static IP.

Thanks for your help.

Here is what I'm doing step-by-step:

1. From the Network Type I select "Wireless"
2. My access point (WEP) is recognized.
3. Enter password.
4. Select Dynamic IP Mode and Auto DNS Server.
5. "Setting Dynamic IP" message on the screen for about 30 seconds.
6. "Access Point Connection Failed" message.

Thanks

Don't use hackable WEP

Use WPA or WPA2 and see

I set up new WPA2 type, rebooted all devices and tried again both wireless and wired connections. Same problem. My other devices (pc, mac, iPhone etc.) are working fine with the new WPA2. My guess is it may be router setting since I can establish wired connection directly from the modem.

Thanks again for your help.

No, I tried to set up my router that way.
Could you provide more details on your recent suggestion?

Thanks
