WAVW file playback problem with dBPoweramp ripped files

I am not a Beta group member but the inability from technical support to solve my problem (effectively clueless) and lack of response on the other forum, force me to post here. When trying to playback WAVE files (44.1/16 or higher sampling/bit rates) that were ripped or coverted using dBPoweramp, all I get is something like loud whitenoise. No problem with FLAC files. The people at dBPower amp tell me that the Netgear NeoTV 550 cannot handle properly all wave (TAG/) protocols. What is your take on this and is there any thing that can be done about it?
