Default Cannot find KEY to allow access to other PCs

Help...

I have a MAC and NETGEAR was set up using the MAC... I now am trying to gain access with a PC onto NETGEAR.

It is having trouble "Validating Identity". As such, I've checked out some support areas that described going onto the router site and locating the NETWORK key. I've tried and cannot find it...

Is it because this was set up with MAC?

Please let me know how to find this "key" or how to fix the Validating Identity issue.

Thanks

pc or mac has NOTHING to do with the issues

login the router and you may need to adjust the wireless setting.

make sure the computer which are accessing the router is WIRED to the router when changing the wireless settings

Correct me if im wrong... I believe you are using an old Mac - which doesnt support WPA.

Just access the GUI of the router and take note of the "Key 1".
On your Mac, use the Key 1 code. (put a $ sign at the end of the code if it is not working.)
