Has anyone experienced an error:
Error number 0x80040707 Description: DLL function call crashed: MirrChk.MirrChk This was encountered when I did a windows XP repair and could no longer connect to the NAS SC101T. I deleted the storage manager software and went to reinstall (AS I have done before) and this is the error I get. I know the error code is common, but what is the MirrChk.MirrChk?? Also, how does one fix it. I cleaned registry with Ccleaner and again manually but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

What was the nature of the XP repair?
Be advised that the SC101T is NOT a NAS but a SAN and therefore, the software also installs the necessary virtual image SCSI drivers. Make sure these drivers are installed before any other virtual image SCSI drivers. Also make sure no software firewalls (incl. Windows own) are running. Port UDP 20001 must be open for SC101 data traffic. |
