Default Setting up a wireless network? Help

Hi there,

I just purchased an EVA9100 and wanted to know how I set this up to read files/movies/internet from my lap top in the next room. Apologies, as I have no idea on how to set this up or what equipment I need to purchase.

Firstly do I need to get a wireless adapter like this for the back of the player?

Do I then need to buy a wireless router for the laptop to be able to communicate with the player? If so, can anyone recommend a cheap/basic router as I don't want to spend too much.

Thanks.

You may check the link below to setup the EVA9100:

ftp://downloads.netgear.com/files/EV..._09AUG2009.pdf

ftp://downloads.netgear.com/files/Pl..._31AUG2009.pdf

You need a wireless adapter like EVAW111 and a wireless router like WGR614v10

You can also get a WNCE3001 (or the WNCE2001) Ethernet to wireless adapter, which doesn't require any drivers to be on the attached device. (http://www.netgear.com/home/products...e/default.aspx )
