Problem with Netgear WMA 1000 Windows XP Don't know what to do

So I am having a problem with my netgear wireless adapter and I don't know what to do. I have Windows XP and a Hewlett Packard desktop. I put in the adapter, installed the program, and put in my WEP password, and it worked beautifully. Then, something went wrong with the computer, and we did a system restore. During the system restore, it asked me does my internet provider require a password. My mother put in "no" which was clearly a mistake, and now when I reinstalled the wireless adapter, it can't connect to the internet. It doesn't even ask for the password and the screen looks totally different with only two tabs. How do I fix it?
