Default How can i optimised my Home Network performance

The issue tha im having is tha when someone in my home network is downloading files over 100mb
are watching stream videos my network speed goes to crawlling speeds on the rest of the computers
and the xbox.
How can i configured my router so tha this don't happen and every device can still function ?

Maybe nothing. How fast is your ISP providing data to you? How are the other computers connected and configured? How many devices are accessing the Internet at the same time?

My speed is 3mbps down and 73mbps up
QoS is turn on its at its defults settings
Bandwith control is on too

Im using my guest Networks instead of my primary Network

I have the xbox on its on guest network
and the 2nd guest network i have my pc on it
and the third guest network i have another pc on it and a ipod
and a printer.And when family/friends come over they connect to this network

spec don't add up

3Mbps download then should be 750Kbps (.750Mbps)


there is not way to control the bandwidth when one is sucking up the bandwidth.

if you are using torrent type of app then you could adjust the download speed to cap out in smaller.

My mistake is 0.73mbps upload

I download "free download manager" yesterday and i been using tha to control my download speeds .would up gradeing to a highend router give me the options to give each host a certain amount of bandwith?

prosafe router can can do bandwidth profile
