How can I setup something on my compute to receive mail rather then using my Comcast pop3 account? Apparently the Netgear SRXN3205 only allows logs to be sent to Port25. This was talked about here over three years ago, and Netgear has not changed a thing. I'm using a newer router and yet I still forced to use port 25. it's a Useless function to even have in the router.
I can't change Comcast's SMTP port because it's in the 500 range. My router only lets you use 25, or over 1000 ranges. Whats the point in even having email log options.

believe it or not, it's actually working. I didn't think it would.
It's not automatic like I thought though, I have to go into the router under where it says view the log, and then if I click the submit button it sends it to my email. Again, it's not automated like I thought though. no big deal

So are the logs being sent to your computer, which I assume either means a device on your LAN or permitted remote device? Have you replaced Comcast as your email provider? What did you, other than clicking on the "Send Logs" button? If you didn't do anything else, then how did you set up your email?
