what are the common errors with using DLNA or UPNP?
I have a Netgear easyshare DSL router with a 2TB USB plugged into it. I have a digital box & PS3 that have the ability to access a network via DLNA but neither of them are accessing all the folders properly. I have 3 folders: Music Pictures Video the problem I have is that when accessing it only shows visible the music folder & a small portion of the sub folders! A friend of mine is also experiencing the same problem & I have now used 3 different devises to access the data over the network & all 3 are doing the exact same thing in only showing a small portion of the folders (& files) that I know are actually there DOes anyone know how to fix? |

I have the same.
I am wondering on using firmware modification kit (http://bitsum.com/firmware_mod_kit.htm) to replace minidlna binary with a later version which fixes many bugs, including crashing on weirded files and supporting bigger collections of files. Still need to try that though... |

I have the same issue with WNDR3700 connecting to NTFS-formatted Fantom 1TB (G-Forece Megadisk 1TB MDC1000 SATA2 USB 2.0). I can only see a partial folders and files when selecting video folders containing AVI files from any ReadyDLNA display device. I do not have this issue with I use a Sandisk 16GB USB key.
Hardware Version WNDR3700 Firmware Version V1.0.7.98NA GUI Language Version V1.0.0.64 |
