sync tivo to new iPad 3

I use the Tivo software to retrieve a news show every day, and it automatically sends it to Toast to convert to the iPhone / iPod overnight so it is available in the morning. That is an automatic process the requires no intervention. TiVo Transfer only allows me to select Toast. How about I want to convert the tivo file to the New iPad 3 format? Anyway I can transfer to tivo video to my mac and convert it?

Although the TiVo Desktop software for the Mac (supplied by TiVo) does not allow user to transfer TiVo recordings to Mac, there are other freeware can accomplish this task, like the TiVoDecode Manager. Run the app, enter your TiVo's IP address in the TiVo IP Address box. Next click the Prefs button in the lower-right corner. Fill in the Media Access Key. A list of shows on your TiVo will appear in the Now Playing list. Select the show and click Add Show To Queue. The selected show now appears in the Download Queue list. Click Download Location to select where you want to save it. The app allows you to convert TiVo shows to MPEG-4 video for iPod. Of course you can play these TiVo shows with QuickTime Player. To convert the recordings for iPad 3, you can enter Pavtube iPad Video Special Column to find a solution.

Try AppGeeker. It's worked nicely for me in the past, and has some nice features like settings for various devices (downscale to iPad resolution while you convert, etc).

Tranfer TiVo to ipad 3 is not a complex task. Just enable the TiVo files playable on iPad 3 and sync with iTunes on your Mac. Converting TiVo to iPad mp4 video with a video app is the key process. You can refer to How to use WD TV/iPad with TiVo files. It will help u.
