Default Firmware upgrade Question. ?

If i upgrade the firmware on my XAVB5001 plugs will i need to redo the Push-and-Secure buttons on the side of the plugs or will it keep the old settings so the plugs are still working and secured. ?

Thankyou.

in most cases, you want to hard rest the device to load the firmware correctly which means you loose the settings.

it may not loose setting just flashing firmware but always wise to reset the device

When i try and upgrade the firmware from v0.2.0.9.CE to the latest v2.0.0.0 i get the following error message.

"Either no NETGEAR adapter can be found or all devices have the newest firmware."

Any ideas. ?

As far as I can see version 0.2.0.9CE is the latest version (this is the European version pre-installed), Upgrade tool 2.0.0.0 will put version 0.2.0.9NA onto the adapters, which is simply the American version of the same firmware

Yes is means you are running the latest firmware (at the time). Since then a new firmware has been released (v0.2.1.1CE) which you can now update to

hmm..all of my adapters are showing v0.2.0.9NA and the upgrade util says they don't need to be updated? do you have any thoughts as to why this might be?
