Default Push2TV Asking for Security Code on TV

I am hoping that someone can help me. This is my first time using a forum to get resolution on an issue. I have a ptv1000 that was work fine and stopped, suddenly. After following all troubleshooting, I finally landed on resetting. I have updated the firmware and everything is current. My issue is that it is now recognizing the adapter, however, it is asking for a security code. It reads, "This is the first time you're connecting to Push2TV: Living Room. Please enter the 4 digit security code that appears on your TV. This is the issue, as nothing is appearing. I tried calling, but they want $$ to advise. If you could assist, I would be grateful. I apologize if there was another post out there around this issue, but I didn't see one when I was doing my search. Thanks in advance!!!

Normally when you see that code you should be able to enter it into a popup window in the laptop that you started the connection from. If no windows is opening on the laptop, then the first step is doublecheck that you have all of the latest Intel drivers installed on the laptop. If you do, then I'd suggest powering both the laptop and the PTV1000 base unit off, power on the PC, then once booted power on the PTV1000 and try connecting again.
