My home router does not have wireless and I need to hook up my IPTV to this router to receive the data and the TV is in a seperate room. I am wondering can I use 2 units with one connecting to the router in one room and the other connecting to my settop box in another room and paired them? If yes, can anyone give me the procedures on how to do it (like just simply pressing the WPS button on both units...)?
Many thanks! ![]() ![]()

Hi,
I intend to use two WNCE2001 in a similar way, but I am also not sure if it works. I have a cable-based network running spread over two buildings with internet-access and DHCP-server in building 1 and some devices also in building 2. Problem is that I had 2 lightning-caused damages within 3 years. Shielding and grounding is not enough. Also some available network isolators are not doing the job. So I want to cut the cable that connects the buildings and place 2 WNCE2001 in between at the entry-point to each building to protect the network segmets in the buildings Long story - short question... Can 2 of them be paired to each other without an access-point involved? thanks for any help, Elfu73 |
