Hi
I occasionally have wireless connection problems with my PC, Laptop & Netbook which are set to obtain an ISP automatically. The PC is using a wired connection and always connects without a problem. My Norton Internet Security 2012 settings often show more than one ISP Address for the computers which I assume are a legacy from the various ISPs assigned from time to time. If I set up an Address Reservation for all my computers and assign a personal ISP address for each computer using the MAC Addresses of the Wireless Adapters and Ethernet Adapters would this be likely top help? Also, if I do this, will I need to also change the settings in Properties of each computer/adapter to match these assigned ISP Addresses or can I leave these to obtain an ISP automatically? |
