I have a WNAP210 running 2.0.12 and I've been experiencing dropped packets and extremely high ping times. Pining something through the device will result in getting triple digit response times and quiet often 4 digit response times. And about every 5-10 seconds it will drop a packet.
For example from a Wired server these were my ping results to a wireless device. Ping statistics for 10.10.0.80: Packets: Sent = 54, Received = 52, Lost = 2 (3% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 2ms, Maximum = 1711ms, Average = 316ms I feel this is beyond unacceptable. Has anyone had these issues with the WNAP210 and if so what have they done about it? |

Have you done a site survey for interference issues?

Were you able to resolve this issue?
A WNAP210 I installed for a client was dropping connections after about 30 seconds. I have deployed a couple of these elsewhere without issue so I tried the much more expensive WNAP 320 and to my chagrin it did the same thing. This was in a downtown LA highrise. I have never seen so many wireless connections available I figured interference was the likely culprit. I called Netgear and the girl had me change the Channel Width to 20/40 MHz. She commented that when she gets calls for this problem changing this setting does the trick and it did for me as well. The wi-fi was must faster and held the connections without error.. Good luck!
