Yep; MPC is the best place to go for Dune info IMO. Also, I purchased my Dune from duneplayer.com and they have quite a few resources there as well.

I use Zappiti. Now in order to use that software, you have to email HDI a copy of your receipt and they will email you a license key to use the Zappiti software free of charge.

Check out MPC for help.

Cheers!

Also, make sure you load the latest beta firmware for your Dune. It may be labeled beta but believe me, it's stable as ell!

I used an old SD card to format and use as the Blu-Ray cache and a USB thumb drive in the back to hold my Zappiti data.

You can setup Z to export to your external/internal hard drive, NAS or even a USB thumb drive ( which is very fast to load all of your titles; I have close to 700 atm ). If you decide to use a thumb drive to load Z data onto; plug in the thumb drive directly into your PC. Load the Z data then plug it into your Dune. Now change the config within Z to export to your Dune via your network when you need to update Zappiti. The first load can take a long time so loading it locally first helped a lot.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the tips!

I will use the 4 GB USB stick I currently have plugged into my Neotv.

When you say 'Load the Z data' do you mean the 'Export Dune' function?

Yes; the export Dune function. It will export all of the required data which the Dune player can read.

It is refreshing to finally have a player that does what I want and does it well. My search is over. I hope to pick up a second Dune Smart in the very near future.

Cheers,
